Fire & Security Technician

Location: Louisville, KY

Position Overview

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire & Security Technician to join our National Installation Account team in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is ideal for a motivated technician with a strong background in installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of intrusion detection, fire alarm, video surveillance, and access control systems across commercial and banking environments.

The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience with multiple security and life safety platforms and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional service and technical expertise to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain intrusion detection systems.
• Perform installation and service work for ATM/ITM banking security and intrusion systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV/video surveillance systems.
• Install, inspect, service, and repair commercial fire alarm systems.
• Install and support access control systems, including hardware and software configuration.
• Conduct system testing, programming, and commissioning of fire and security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Complete project documentation, service reports, and compliance records.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Travel locally as needed to support customer sites and installation projects.

Intrusion Installation & Service

Experience with:

• Bosch
• DMP (Digital Monitoring Products)

ATM/ITM Bank Security & Intrusion Systems

Experience installing and servicing:

• Bosch
• DMP

CCTV Installation & Service

Experience with:

• Alarm.com
• Hikvision
• Hanwha
• Avigilon

Fire Alarm Installation & Service

Experience with:

• Edwards
• Fire-Lite
• Additional fire alarm platforms preferred

Access Control Systems

Experience with:

• Brivo
• Honeywell
• DMP
• Bosch
• Alarm.com

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm, Security, or Low Voltage Technician.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls and projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• State or local fire/security licenses and certifications.
• Manufacturer certifications in any of the listed platforms.
• NICET certification or equivalent industry credentials.
• Experience supporting financial institution security systems.

Pay: $34 hourly
