Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with MS Fabric and Azure and will contribute to extending and optimizing our data platforms. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust data architectures to support various business needs.

Pay Rate: $130,000 / year

Duties and Functions

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architecture and data models in an MS Fabric environment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize existing data structures and propose new designs to improve data accessibility and quality.
  • Support the integration of disparate data sources to create a unified data ecosystem.
  • Implement data governance and security measures to comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other architects to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Participate in the review and enhancement of data platform technologies and tools.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in data architecture, data engineering, data warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in data architecture design within MS Fabric or Azure cloud environment.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and data security best practices.
  • Experience with other data platforms is an advantage.

Work Environment/Condition

An indoor office space with proper lighting and climate-controlled setting.

Physical Demands

·      Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·      Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
