Business Support Manager (BSM)

Location: San Antonio or Austin, TX

Travel: Up to 1 week per month (San Antonio, Austin, Edinburg)Industry: Security Integration (Access Control, CCTV, Fire, Intrusion)

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly organized, leadership‑driven Business Support Manager (BSM) to partner directly with our General Manager and support operations across three branch offices: San Antonio, Austin, and Edinburg. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced security installation environment and understands the operational demands of access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and related low‑voltage systems.

The BSM will serve as a key operational leader—driving efficiency, supporting field and office teams, improving processes, and ensuring exceptional client experiences. This individual must be comfortable leading people, managing multiple priorities, and representing the company professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.

All travel will be fully arranged and paid for, including per diem.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Business Support

  • Serve as the primary operational partner to the General Manager across three branch locations.
  • Oversee daily business operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and project timelines.
  • Support scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination between installation teams, service teams, and office staff.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and support administrative and operational staff, including direct reports.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment across all branch offices.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a professional, client‑facing representative of the company.
  • Support the GM in client meetings, project reviews, and escalations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Administrative & Technical Skills

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and operational summaries using Excel (including pivot tables).
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) for daily operations.
  • Maintain documentation, contracts, and project records with accuracy and organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar operational or business support role within the security integration industry (access control, CCTV, fire alarm, intrusion, or low‑voltage systems).
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing direct reports.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables required), Word, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to one week per month to San Antonio, Austin, and Edinburg.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.

Pay Rate: 85,000/salary
