Job Description
Position Summary
Provides specialized infusion and oncology nursing care, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, patient education, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Must have been employed in an infusion center within the past 24 months with at least 12 months of experience.
Certifications
Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications. Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/ONCC Chemotherapy-Biotherapy certification required at hire or within six months.
Licensure
Current, full, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state or territory.
Contract Worker Standard Qualifications
· Manage infusion and oncology patient care requirements.
· Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and disease-modifying agents.
· Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
· Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacy, lab, and ancillary services.
· Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
· Operate infusion and monitoring equipment safely.
· Document treatments accurately and participate in peer review and training.
· Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times.
