Loyal Source is looking for an Assistant Health Services Administrator for an employment opportunity in El Paso, Texas.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Health Services Administrator, you will serve as a key leader within the healthcare management team, supporting the administration, operational performance, and strategic execution of health services within a federally managed facility. In partnership with the Health Services Administrator, you will provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered healthcare services. This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving operational excellence, fostering staff engagement, managing competing priorities, and supporting organizational initiatives in a highly regulated environment.
Pay: $105,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of health services, including staffing, workflow management, resource allocation, and continuity of care.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical and administrative personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Partner with the Health Services Administrator to implement operational strategies that improve patient care delivery, efficiency, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics, identify operational challenges, and implement corrective action plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management initiatives for healthcare staff.
- Lead or support quality assurance, risk management, patient safety, audits, inspections, and performance improvement programs.
- Serve as a liaison between departments, providers, facility leadership, and external stakeholders while acting on behalf of the Health Services Administrator when delegated.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership review.
- Support organizational change initiatives and facilitate implementation of new programs, policies, procedures, and technology solutions.
- Assist with workforce planning, staffing optimization, budgeting oversight, and resource management initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive healthcare leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, quality improvement methodologies, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams, developing staff, and managing performance in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Experience managing healthcare operations within a 24/7 environment.
- · Familiarity with healthcare budgeting, workforce planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
- · Experience supporting accreditation inspections and regulatory surveys.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in correctional, military, or community health settings.
- Familiarity with Texas state health regulations and Medicaid/Medicare processes.
Physical Requirements:
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; walking or jogging over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or recurring lifting of moderately heavy patients or equipment.
Schedule:
This facility operates 24/7/365. This full-time position requires working days, evenings, as well as weekends and holidays. Specific hours will be determined by the facility needs. On-call availability is not required.

The Prime Contract requires that employees and representatives performing work on the Project be United States citizens or foreign citizens who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
