Loyal Source Government Services is looking for 8 full-time Environmental Service Technicians to provide custodial support services Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center (MGVAMC).
Job Summary: Environmental Service Technicians must maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and presentable environment for Veterans, visitors, staff, and other occupants located at Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center. Environmental Service Techs are required to follow VA policies, infection prevention requirements, safety standards, and manufacturer instructions for approved products and equipment.
Pay Rate: $26.18 / hr
Duties:
• Service all covered restrooms three (3) times per day Saturday and Sunday, consisting of two (2) services during core hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (preferably one after breakfast, one after lunch) and one (1) service during after-hours of 5:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. (one after dinner), unless otherwise specified. Restroom service shall include:
o Cleaning and disinfecting sinks, toilets, urinals, lavatories, partitions, dispensers, doors, handles, kick plates, vents, mirrors, and other touch surfaces using hospital-grade disinfectants.
o ii. Sweeping and damp mopping floors with hospital-grade germicidal solution.
o iii. Restocking consumable supplies as needed to maintain uninterrupted availability.
o iv. Emptying, relining, and sanitizing trash receptacles.
o v. Posting and initialing the restroom cleaning log.
• Restroom floors shall be machine scrubbed or otherwise deep cleaned once weekly after hours.
• Empty, sanitize, and reline trash containers throughout all responsible areas.
o All trash containers shall be emptied and returned to their initial location. Boxes, cans, paper placed near a trash receptacle and marked “TRASH” shall be removed. Receptacle liners shall be replaced. The trash shall be deposited in the nearest outside trash collection container. Trash receptacles shall be left clean, free of foreign matter and odors
• Maintenance common areas, hallways, corridors, floor, elevators, and stairways.
• Floors shall be swept (daily), dust mopped (daily), damp mopped (daily), wet mopped (daily), and freedom from dirt, debris, dust, scuff marks, heel marks, other stains and discoloration and foreign matter
• High/Low dust all spaces
• Baseboards, corners, and wall/floor edges shall also be clean
• Elevators and stairway floors shall be cleaned after 5:00pm.
Qualifications:
• Be able to pass a federal government background investigation.
